I Get It

Knowing you are in a mixed faith marriage makes me want to reach through my screen and give you a big hug.

I get it.

I am in the trenches with you.

I know first hand what it is like to hear your spouse tell you he will not be going to church anymore.

I too have spent sleepless nights with my back to my husband with tears and leftover mascara seeping into my pillowcase.

I have worried about all the what if’s.

Difficult conversations?

Been there, done that, and I will continue to keep having them.

I want you to know:

I see you.

I hear you.

I understand you.

I know it isn’t easy.

I know that behind your beautiful smile there is sometimes some grief, worry, resentment, disconnect and uncertainty.

I know it is hard to accept that things have not gone the way you thought they would.

It is hard to think about it, let alone talk about it.

When you are ready to talk to someone who sees you, hears you, and gets what you are going through I am here to help you.

I would love to share the tools that have helped me in my own mixed faith marriage with you.
