YOU DON’T HAVE TO SHARE THE SAME RELIGIOUS BELIEFS IN ORDER TO HAVE A GREAT RELATIONSHIP.

ABOUT ME

I thought my life was going to look a certain way. I did all the things: served a mission, married a returned missionary in the temple, started a family and magnified my callings. Life seemed pretty amazing and was going according to my plan.

Until… my husband let me know he was done with church. I was devastated. This was not what I signed up for. I felt miserable and did everything I could to make my pain go away. On the outside I was strong and had a smile on my face, but on the inside I was full of anger, resentment, worry, and grief. As our children grew up, they also chose different paths than I had planned on.

My marriage suffered. I stopped seeing all the things I loved about my husband. I totally felt like a victim, and by default, that made him the villian. I blamed him. It was hard and there were times where I felt hopeless. It seemed like the only way I could ever feel happy again was if my people came back to church. For years I tried to change them… that didn’t go well. The more I tried to control them the more disconnected we became.

Through trial and error, hard work, lots of prayers and personal revelation; I have been guided to the people and resources that have helped me not only endure but to thrive in my mixed faith relationships.

Life Coaching is one of the most powerful tools and blessings I have found.

Not only for my marriage, but for every other part of my life as well.

Coaching has helped me:

  • Find happiness with out having to change my loved ones.

  • Love my people as they are instead of being in love with an unrealistic version of them.

  • Connect with my loved ones, myself, and my Heavenly Parents.

  • Gain confidence in who I am, what is important to me, and to love myself.

  • Handle all the emotions that come up.

  • Feel empowered instead of feeling like a victim.

  • Have the hard conversations.

  • Show up as the person I want to be.

  • Handle unmet expectations and find beauty in what is.

  • Navigate the milestones, tender times, and the unknown.

Life coaching was such a game changer for me I knew I wanted to pay it forward. As a Certified Life Coach, I get to be the person for you that I needed on my journey.

24 years into this journey, our family is far from perfect, but it is pretty dang good. We have come a long way and I am so glad I am here. There is hope my friend. I get it. I see you. I understand you. I know how to help you. My personal experience, the tools I share as a Life Coach, and my faith serve me and my clients well.

WHAT IS A LIFE COACH?

A life coach helps you see what is in your control so you can create the life you have always wanted. When you feel unable to get the results you want or feel frustrated in any area of your life, coaching is the solution. A life coach can help you recognize where you’re stuck and show you exactly what needs to change when you can’t see it yourself. A life coach is like the best friend who will call you out when you’re not showing up as your best self, give you tough love, and believe in you even before you believe in yourself.

HOW IS A COACH DIFFERENT THAN A THERAPIST?

A therapist helps someone when they are functioning below their baseline. They diagnose mental illness, work through trauma, or other problems. The goal with therapy is to go from dysfunction to function. It is often focused on the past. A life coach focuses on the present and the future. They help functioning clients take it to the next level. A life coach is someone who can help you improve your life, feel better, and achieve your goals. Many clients use both a therapist and a life coach.
