GIRL SCOUT COOKIES CAN ONLY TAKE THE EDGE OFF THE PAIN
When you got married in the temple, you always imagined that you would return often on date nights.
You would be that adorable couple that walked hand in hand and snuggled up to each other on the couch.
Now that your spouse is out of the church, that looks different.
It is hard going by yourself because so many emotions come up for you.
Or perhaps you are at the temple with your spouse, but one of your children no longer believes so there's an empty chair, or maybe a few of them.
You always imagined it would look a certain way, and reality looks different.
It hurts so you drown your sorrows in a box of Girl Scout Cookies.
You start with the Thin Mints and now the you are eyeing the Samoas.
The cookies are delicious but that only takes the pain away for a few minutes.
