Where Is Your Focus?
Your thoughts direct your brain.
They tell your brain what to look for and what to focus on.
You brain is always seeking evidence that what you are believing is true.
Even if it isn't, you brain does not want to be wrong.
For example, if I tell you that the world is beautiful and you believe me, you will notice the perfect clouds, vibrant flowers, and the pleasant sunsets.
Your brain won't be focusing on everything, just what you are asking it to look for.
It will seek beauty.
If you believe you are not very confident, your brain will scan for evidence that it’s true.
And it will find it.
If you believe that your mixed faith relationships are really hard, your brain will be on a mission to focus on all the hard things.
This is why it is so important to choose what you want to believe on purpose and then start scanning for
evidence.
