When Things Don’t Go According To Plan

After serving a mission and getting married in the temple, I assumed my life would look a certain way.

I imagined that my husband and children would all attend church with me, they would all have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ, they would never swear, they would follow the Word Of Wisdom, go on missions, live the Law Of Chastity, get married in the temple, etc.

You know...all "the things".

That was my "Plan A".

That worked well for me personally and I assumed that everyone else would follow that plan.

Turns out none of my people are on board with Plan A.

They all have free agency and are making their own plan.

When we are so attached to Plan A we block ourselves from seeing the good in Plan B.

You know what else I have learned?

Plan B can still be as amazing as Plan A.

How are you doing in the Plan B’s of your life?

If you are still longingly looking at plan A you might be missing out with how amazing plan B actually is.
