Do you have a favorite villain?
Hey friend,
Let’s talk about villains, shall we?
When you think of villains, who comes to mind?
For me it was: Darth Vader, Maleficent, The Joker, The Big Bad Wolf, Cinderella's evil step sisters, and Voldemort.
By any chance, is your loved one on that list as well?
I bet you are thinking…NO WAY!
I don’t know about you, but there have been times I felt like a victim in my mixed faith relationships.
Every victim needs a villain.
I blamed my husband and my kids who have left the church for all my problems.
When we are in victim mode we give away all our power.
I saw all the great things I was doing and judged them for the things I thought they should be doing.
I stopped noticing all the things I loved about them.
It's hard to see the good in someone when you think they are the bad guy.
All I could see were their flaws.
I very unfairly turned the good man I loved, who worked so hard for our family into a villain.
I separated myself from my loved ones I saw "on the dark side".
It is really hard to understand, connect with, or have compassion for a villain.
There is a reason you didn't marry Voldemort, trust me.
If you are feeling like a victim, I totally get it.
If you are ready to change the dynamic in your mixed faith relationships, I can help you.
It feels so much better going from a victim/villain duo to a couple of superheroes on the same team.
Let’s chat and help you change that dynamic.
