A Little Bit About Me
A little bit about me.
I can talk your ear off, I love to laugh, I assume everyone is my friend, I am famous for leaving clothes in the dryer for days, and I usually have at least 10 tabs open on my laptop at a time.
I love squirt gun fights, trying out any bakery in my path, and I love a good thick milkshake (if you can suck it with a straw it is too thin).
I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My family has been in the church for several generations. My faith is a huge part of who I am and brings me great peace.
I have been married for 24 years to an amazing man. I am blessed by his support, hard work and goodness. We have been in a mixed faith marriage for most of our marriage.
I am a mom of 3 amazing humans ages 20, 18, and 13. I feel especially privileged to have raised them, we have learned so much from each other and it is an honor to be their mom. None of them have any interest in the church.
I served a mission in Taiwan and speak Mandarin Chinese. My daughter speaks Mandarin as well…super fun!
I know what it is like to feel the whole range of emotions: joy, gratitude, connection, inspired, confident, disappointment, resentment, judgement, sad, and grief as I navigate my mixed faith relationships.
I know what it is like to have challenges and unfulfilled expectations.
I know what it is like to have your loved one/s leave the church.
I also know how to love them, even when they have chosen a different path than I had planned on.
I am a certified Life Coach who delights in helping women connect with themselves, their loved ones, and God in their mixed faith relationships.
I help them find the real reason they are not connecting in their relationships and how to fix that.
