What If It Works Out Perfectly?
In May I will be attending my daughters college graduation in China.
I am so proud I could pop.
In order to go though, I had to apply for a Chinese Visa.
The process had a million steps, was a pain in the rear, and a lot of things could go wrong.
My brain kept focusing on all of those icky things over and over.
Those thoughts made me feel so worried, anxious, and defeated.
Can you relate?
When my brain offers me all of the problems, I like to answer it with "Yes brain, I hear you AND everything could also go smoothly as well."
I like to give equal air time to all the amazing possibilities because they are just as likely.
When my brain starts freaking out about all the terrible things that could happen with my loved ones out of the church, I try to do the same thing.
I give space that things could also work out in an amazing way.
That feels so much more peaceful and I like how I show up so much better.
AND guess what?!?
I got the Visa, no problems at all.
China here I come!
