We learn so many great things as we go through school like how to write a paper, how to take tests, pre calculus, and about genetics.
We learn great things at church that can bring us so much peace.
We learn as we experience the world.
But for some reason though, no one ever really teaches us what to do with our emotions!
When my husband left the church, and later when my kids followed, I had some very uncomfortable emotions that came up for me: worry, fear, disappointment, sadness, jealousy, etc.
Those emotions felt terrible and I didn't want to feel them so I made myself as busy as humanly possible, ate all sorts food my body didn't need, cried a ton, pretended I was fine and spent lots of time judging my people.
It got exhausting AND I didn't feel any better.
